Hello, my name is Don Fitz-Ritson, I am a Chiropractor and a Rehab Fellow.

Experience

I attended the University of Waterloo and received my Hons. degree in Psychology and Kinesiology. I then attended the Chiropractic College in Toronto and graduated in 1979 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. I taught for ten years at the Chiropractic College and was an Ass. Professor. I have lectured internationally and published 17 scientific papers and three definitive chapters in books dealing with the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of spinal injuries. In 1996 I became a Fellow of the Canadian College of Rehabilitation Specialists.

Since 1984, I have also studied , used and researched lasers. In 2006 I co-invented a laser which received 7 Health Canada Approvals for chronic pain conditions.

My Approach To Your Pain Condition

Because of my broad background and experience, I have been able to treat a wide variety of chronic pain conditions by utilizing the best of Chiropractic, Laser, Rehab and Nutrition. When I combine these disciplines to focus on your pain condition, I am not only able to solve the pain condition, but to truly heal the tissues that were causing the pain, and via rehabilitation, take that healed area to a higher level of functioning.  With this approach, I am able to effectively deal with conditions such as, degenerative discs and joints, herniated discs, sports injuries, chronic neck and back pains, headaches and osteoarthritis.

What To Expect When You Visit My Centre.

Patient-focused care is the hallmark of my Centre. By this I mean, the focus of our consultation and physical examination is to identify specifically what is causing your pain. Explaining the cause of your pain to you, and outlining how we are going to fix your condition, ensures that you are an active participant in your therapeutic process. You’ll learn what caused your pain, how to daily care for it, and how to prevent re-occurrences.

I hope to hear from you, so we can work together on solving your pain condition.

Thanks for listening and hope to see you soon.
